Tonight Kenny and I had our second "date night" since we have been here. Last week some girls from school asked the kids if they wanted to go with them to a game room at the mall. Of course they said yes.
This is our first "babysitter." Her name is Nova and she is as fun as she looks in the photo. She came in and put on the wig that goes to Bre's stuffed bear… you know everyone here loves the light hair and skin!
They came over on their motorcycles. This is Santi, and she is almost as energetic as Nova.
This is Nova on her bike with Ethan and our final helper, Ika. She is the quite sensible one. I think she was there to keep them all under control!
This is how the majority of the people travel here. It is amazing how comfortable they all are on these things. They took the kids to the mall and they ate at Pizza Hut and had their photos taken in one of those photo booths (those are REALLY popular here and you get to choose a background) and played in the game room and came home with balloon swords and hats (the girls at the front counter at Pizza Hut make them for the kids). They had a great time and Mommy and Daddy got to enjoy a relaxing dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. It was a great night!
(P.S. They did not really take the kids on the bikes, we drove them there and picked them up!)
