Welcome

Welcome to our blog. Our family has recently embarked on an incredible journey. We have moved from our small town in the United States to a large city in Southeast Asia. The adjustments are going to be many and we want to share our adventure with you. We have been led to this country with a two fold purpose. Kenny will begin honing his photography skills and put them to work. And of course, as followers of Chri$t, we pray that we will be salt and light to those we encounter and build relationships with along the way. We hope you enjoy our journey and come back often!

Snack Time

After we left the market we decided to go ahead and go to the grocery store to pick up a few things. We usually try to avoid the snack isles. Just like back in the states, they have at least two isles dedicated just to crackers, cookies, candy and chips…though most of them are not the snacks we are used to. This particular day, they had a special going on with a display of the Pringles that were on sale. If you notice, they go on for a ways down the shelf.
Hummm… which one shall I choose?
Maybe we will try one of these lovely flavors. Kenny really did want to try the grilled shrimp, but I'm afraid they are just too expensive to experiment with right now! They also have seaweed flavor in their Cheetos as well… chicken flavor too! If we ever get brave enough to try them, we will certainly let you know how they taste!

  1. If you can find them, try the Green Curry Pringles. We bought a can somewhere in Asia (I think either Thailand or Malaysia) and loved them! Too bad they don't sell that flavor in the states!
